1976 - 1992:  
Craig Test Laboratories/Craig Test Boring Co., Inc.:  Served in various positions, which included driller, assistant lab manager, sales manager and test boring manager.  In 1978, Craig Testing merged with Testwell Laboratory to become Testwell Craig Test Boring Co., Inc.  Started as manager and eventually became President in 1984.

1992:   
Started Craig Test Boring Co., Inc. when Testwell Craig elected to get out of the geotechnical business.  Company performs geotechnical test borings, monitoring well installation, geotechnical instrumentation and foundation engineering services.

1994: 
Started Geothermal Services to design and install closed loop geothermal ground couplings both in residential and commercial projects.

J. SCOTT CRAIG
DIVISION MANAGER – NORTH EAST

POSITION:

Manager of Craig Test Boring Co., Inc. drilling operations in Northern New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.  Responsibilities include the supervision and coordination of field operations in Northern New Jersey, New York State, including New York City and Long Island, and New England.  This includes Geotechnical investigations, installation of groundwater observation and monitoring wells, and environmental projects; procurement of permits in New York City and adjacent Boroughs; pre-job meetings; bid estimating; procurement of materials, equipment and support locations.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

1978 – 1982 
Employed by Testwell Craig Testing Laboratories, Inc.  Experience in concrete, asphalt, and steel inspection, non-destructive testing, and field and laboratory soils analysis. 

1982 – 1987:  
Employed by Testwell Craig Test Boring Co., Inc. as driller.  Experienced in all forms of Geotechnical Test Borings, Field Soil Testing, Rock Coring, and Groundwater Monitoring and Observation Wells.

1987 – 1992:
Employed by Testwell Craig Test Boring Co., Inc. as Division Manager – North East.

1992 – Present:
